And finally....
The first large yard can be done without cheating for a medium talented Serious Sam player (like me). Things are getting weird when you recognize moving arrows in the ground. But that's what we expect from the final level, right?
From the level's entrance turn right and blast the dark spot in the wall to get a serious damage and a super health power up.
After the first edge, in the far right corner, kill this guy to get a serious damage.
After the second corner, blast a dark spot in the left wall to discover the teleporter to the secret pumpkin field.
After the fifth corner, blast this dark spot in the right wall to find the teleporter to the secret embryo museum. Nice power-ups there.
Check the windows of the tower in the sixth corner. You'll like this better than the last horse: It gives you invulerability.
In the court in front of the grand cathedral there's a very small pink spot right to the jump pads on the rigt side. After having killed some guys, you can simply jump in there and grab a super health.
Tips & Tricks
Some people reported a nice trick for solving this final yard w/o cheating. I got this first message from Dr. Chris Kear: From the entrance door, head right and grab the serious speed boots. Then head to the little alcove to the right of the cathedral door. (the one with the metal grating). Squeeze tight into the corner nearest the cathedral door and kill any enemies following you. I used a bomb for this which is the easiest way. Peek round the corner and take out any enemies. If the blue aura of the boss is visible peek round just enough to see his shoulder and keep shooting him. He will disappear if he can see you so keep his head out of view. In this way you can pick him off without him throwing more enemies at you and without him disappearing off round the courtyard.
Mike has taken this strategy even a step further: After you wipe out everything in the yard outside the cathedral, grab the speed boots that are out where all the power-ups continuously pop up and head for the final yard door. As soon as you get though the door and the movie begins to play, hit a key to kill the movie. Run to the right towards another pair of speed boots – just as your first speed boots are waning, you grab the new pair and head to the area to the right of the cathedral. Slip around the corner to the right of the cathedral and wait for the boss to appear. When he does, inch out until you can see his staff and/or top of his head. Then take the sniper rifle and blast away at whatever exposed boss part you see – about 50 shots and he’s dead without ever having to fight a single enemy! LOL – huge AI gaff there!
